Scripture Memory Box

Every school morning after breakfast we have our morning meeting.  

I read the Bible, we pray, and talk.  

We discuss the happenings of the day.  What's on the menu.  If Daddy's coming home for lunch.  

And we also do our memory work.  I love this little tool.  We've been doing this for a couple of years now and as far as memory work goes, it is the best we've ever used.  

It's easy.  The first tab says Daily.  

This is the verse we are currently working on.  

After we have that one down and are ready to move to a new daily verse, the previous one goes behind one of the next two tabs.  Even or Odd.  This stands for an even number or odd number day on the calendar.  

As we add more verses, the odd and even move behind one of the days of the week.  

Behind them are tabs labeled 1-31 for each day of the month.  

Eventually the days of the week move behind the numbers.  

So everyday we review the Daily, Even or Odd, Day of Week, and Number.  

The biggest advantage to this program is that you are constantly reviewing the Bible verses you've learned so they are never completely forgotten!
